Make a recap: I made a big bet. From a bit after 4:00, until today morning at 10:00, I kept going for 7 trades in a row. I stopped out 6, and I still have the last one in hand. I’ve already covered half of it. If the big bet (BTC) can drop back to 643-638, I won’t just earn back the 6 stopped-out trades—I’ll also be in profit. If the big bet doesn’t drop and rises to the breakeven-loss protection 64780 level, then I’d only lose about 10% of the total position. If it can drop further, the win rate is 14%, and I’ll still make money, or lose 10%.
My entry/exit points are shown in the chart above. Overall, in these 7 trades, 4 of them were ineffective operations. The ones that really should have been traded are trades 5, 6, and 7, and trade 3. I stopped out 2 and profited 1, with a win rate of only 33.3%, but it will definitely be profitable because the 3 ineffective trades made the losses larger—otherwise it would already be in a profit state.
I also did a recap together with the students. The main thing was teaching them how to do recaps—what’s ineffective and what’s effective—so they can achieve unity of knowledge and action, reduce unnecessary consumption, and also prove one thing: if you’re going to trade contracts, the first priority is to improve the risk-reward ratio, and only then is win rate.
Real top traders won’t have a win rate exceeding 50% most of the time. Many are only in the 30-40% range. Even a “high win rate” like 100% can only happen in two situations: one, they’re scammers; two, they’re stubbornly holding trades, using an extremely large loss range to earn a tiny amount of profit.
Also, I’m watching the chart all the time, ready to enter at any moment. Even I can’t accurately get in at the tip of the needle. So if someone can get in exactly at the tip, then either they’re placing orders in advance, or they’re a scammer—there’s no way it’s every time. Rarely, it can happen.
If any fellow coin friends can keep training like I do—practicing, recapping, improving—then you’ll definitely find that many pitfalls can be avoided.
Just wait and see—whether the big bet can drop enough to let me take profit, or whether it will make me lose 10%. Even if I lose 10%, I can recover it with one go. So learning the correct way to lose is an inevitable step on the road to trading success.
