I just saw someone in the group ask whether it’s safe to screenshot a mnemonic phrase and store it in a notes app. I got so mad my blood pressure shot up 😅. Honestly, a mnemonic phrase is basically your life’s key. Screenshots, photos, uploading to cloud drives—these are all like hanging your front door key on the door. Lately there are so many phishing links it’s honestly ridiculous. Some fake signature-authorizaton pages are made even more convincing than the real ones—one slip of the finger and your wallet is empty. As for me, I’m even staring at small website “airdrops” for half an hour before touching anything. I’d rather miss out than click around recklessly.

Why are hardware wallets suddenly out of stock lately? Plainly put, people have been burned and are scared, so they’ve started doing physical isolation. Personally, I think when it comes to security, trust the data more and your instincts less—your instincts might tell you “this project team looks legit,” while the data might tell you “this approval contract was just created three days ago.” Anyway, before I sign anything, I always double-check the contract address in the request—if it’s wrong, I close it.

Slippage is something you can tolerate, but having your wallet drained is something you can’t. That’s it for now—I’m going to check my own approval list…
