The rain has stopped, and I’m too lazy to put my umbrella away. The market is green by a small margin, but what I care about more is making sure nothing in my wallet gets drained. A few days ago, a guy messaged me on Twitter and clicked a link; once the signature authorization was confirmed, all the L2 tokens in his hands were gone, and he got so angry that he basically quit the space. Honestly, phishing sites now look more and more like legitimate DeFi interfaces—even the domains are made with near-spelling variants. I usually save the protocols I use and, before signing anything, I read those authorization details word for word. And my seed phrase is never screenshotted on my phone either—I’d rather write it down and lock it in a drawer. Recently, the RWA wave has been heating up, and a lot of people are comparing U.S. Treasury yields with on-chain products; but in reality, safety comes first and returns come second—first, keep your private key safe so you don’t pay tuition, and then think about how to arbitrage. Anyway, I’m the kind of coward who puts away the umbrella as soon as the weather clears—I don’t dare loosen up on on-chain security.
