Just saw people in the group talking again about cross-chain bridges getting hacked. To be honest, every time I cross-chain it’s especially slow—I’d rather wait a few more rounds of confirmations than rush to click. Multisig and oracles look safe, but as long as one part gets tainted, everything afterward is pointless. A friend of mine from a project told me before that they signed with seven people, but two of them were actually working together—just thinking about it is terrifying.

A couple of days ago I saw someone complaining that on-chain data tools lag, and the tagging system is also easy to be misled. I really relate. There was a protocol before where on-chain data showed TVL surging fast, but later it turned out that someone stacked fake numbers using circular borrowing and lending. Luckily back then I didn’t act because I couldn’t make sense of that token model. I thought, “I’ll wait until I understand it before doing anything,” and it turned out I dodged a bullet 😂

Anyway, with more on-chain information now, I’m even more afraid to move around randomly. If I can’t understand it, I won’t touch it. If it’s slower, it’s slower—that’s fine.
