Just checked the wallet authorization records again, and saw a whole bunch of infinite-approval contracts. I hurried to revoke a few. Honestly, this is like unplugging your phone charger before sleep—you know you should do it, but you’re just too lazy to move.

I’ve been watching the chatter about ETF fund flows for a few rounds recently: when US stocks dip, crypto starts gasping too. Meanwhile, on the contract side there are a lot of infinite-amount authorizations. If the project team runs off, you won’t even be able to cry—there’s nowhere to find them.

I’ve got a sticky note on my wall that says, “Signing contracts before bed? Check approvals first!” But every time airdrop season gets busy, clicking confirm is just as fast as ordering delivery—who cares about the rest then. Anyway, my current habit is: every week I set aside 5 minutes and go through the authorization list like scrolling through a social feed. Revoke what should be revoked—don’t wait for something to go wrong and then slap your forehead.

And I have a weird quirk: every time I revoke permissions, it feels like I’ve set the home alarm just right. I feel at ease all day.

There’s no deep reason—just a plain, big truth: if you can remember to check the doors and windows before bed, then before bed you should remember to check on-chain authorizations, too.
