Typhoon weather has me stuck at home, and I end up doom-scrolling on my phone until I’m irritated and restless. I checked my wallet, and there—once again—a long stream of “moneymaking” tasks popped up: “interact 3 times per week,” “complete cross-chain bridge testing,” “consecutive check-ins for 7 days”… Seriously, this isn’t my job. I’m basically being used as free labor for the project team.

Back when I did moneymaking, it was “picking up money.” Now it’s “like an interview.” You not only have to look at the funding rate—you also have to pay attention to the task platform’s scoring. And if you’re worried about being flagged by the system as a “witch,” you even have to learn how to “pretend to be a real person.” The result? The more you try to disguise yourself, the more you end up looking like a fake person; the more you look like a real person, the more you get accidentally eliminated. I’ve got a friend who played honestly for a full year—never cashed out a single cent—and still got labeled “abnormally active.” The standard was basically that he was just too diligent, like a robot.

Even more ridiculous: recently, news came out about a certain region raising taxes, and deposits and withdrawals have started to make people sweat too. It feels like moneymaking was originally meant to be arbitrage at zero cost, but now your principal might even get “compliance-checked” on the way. Anyway, my impulsive trading mood is back. Seeing all those tasks on the screen, I just want to close everything with one click—sell all the shitcoins in my wallet. Then I’ll use whatever’s left to buy a cup of coffee. Forget it.
