Does on-chain queue jumping count as a false start? I think so: MEV, in plain terms, is for people who can see the transaction order in advance. It’s like in real life you’re standing in line and suddenly someone cuts in front of you—you can’t make a fuss because the on-chain rules basically allow this “sorting tax” by default. But recently, when I looked at RWA’s U.S. Treasury yield products and compared them with yield from on-chain DeFi, it’s kind of interesting—on-chain at least you can trace the footprints of MEV, and know who’s cutting in line, while in traditional finance you can’t even see it. Anyway, personally I try to choose MEV-resistant DEXs or L2s; even if the returns aren’t necessarily higher, I just want some peace and quiet.
