Golden Finance reports that on July 19, according to the results of a public opinion survey published by Japan’s Daily News on July 19, the approval rating of the Takashi Sanae Cabinet fell from 51% in June to 41%. This is the first time since she took office that the cabinet’s approval rating has dropped below 50% in the newspaper’s poll; the disapproval rating rose by 9 percentage points, from 35% to 44%.
