I muted the group. A while back, some cross-chain bridge groups had several thousand posts per day—everything was “Go!” and “Confirmed, funds arriving in seconds,” and it was making me anxious. Later I found that most bridges’ multisigs are just a few addresses, and if the oracle price feed is delayed by a few minutes, you can create a big spike. “Waiting for confirmation” isn’t really asking you to wait for the transfer—it’s making you wait for the time before they pull the net… Anyway, lately the people arguing about miner revenue are also fighting over alleged unfair MEV ordering. In plain terms, there’s no real fairness on-chain—whoever orders gets to decide. For now, when I test bridges with small funds, I first check contract permissions and the pause switches. I haven’t found where that blade behind the high APY is yet, so I’m not charging in for now.
