Just went through a round of on-chain data, and my head is spinning. PFPs—people say they have long-term value. But when you look at the floor price, it also feels a bit questionable. If you want to call them pure attention-grabs, though, then the BAYC membership benefits do seem to be real—there are definitely people paying for them. To put it plainly: now anyone can mint an NFT as a brand, but how many can really make it through the next bear market? At any rate, my two membership cards—I’ll treat it as buying a social pass. Self-hypnosis that it’s a long-term hold, haha.

Recently, I re-staked that setup that’s been controversial all over—“shared security” sounds impressive, but people have been calling it a nested, Russian-doll “stack buff,” where stacked rewards also mean stacked risks. Honestly, I’m also a bit lost. There’s too much information, and I can’t keep track of it. My filtering method is really simple: if I can’t make sense of the charts, or if the logic doesn’t add up, I’ll start with a small position to test it. If I lose money, I’ll treat it as tuition—but I have to figure out clearly what I got wrong. Even a small loss needs a reason. Hearing me, an impulsive player, say something like that sounds a little ironic.
