I just watched the candlestick chart until my eyes started to ache, and after scrolling through news for half an hour, I noticed the number of complaints about recent wallet stock running out has been increasing. Security is definitely something that should be taken seriously too—phishing links of all kinds are popping up everywhere. I’ve got a pile of coins that are dropping like crazy, yet I still feel a reversal might be coming soon? In any case, when crowd sentiment is at its most extreme, I’d rather wait.

Modular blockchains sound technical enough, but for someone like me as an end user, the most direct change is: before, when using a certain DApp, you had to mindlessly wait half an hour for node synchronization, but now the speed is so fast you forget it’s even sharded. You don’t need to worry about how the underlying layers get split up—your experience just feels smoother. It’s like taking a bunch of small tools and assembling LEGO: users only need to flip the switches. While others are still debating when to enter the market, I think it’s better to get everything up to speed first and only move once I’ve seen clearly.

That said, hardware wallets still need to be bought—don’t save those few bucks. I currently just have an old cold wallet. I’ll wait and see for the new stock.
