I tried once to rush in and抢 a shot at a liquidity pool, but I set the slippage too loose. I figured I could snipe the bottom, but I got sandwiched and pinned so hard—fees straight up swallowed half of my profit. Plainly speaking, it still came down to insufficient depth, and I didn’t get the order timing right. Later, I switched tactics: I used preset slippage protection, and paired it with routing that sends you to pools with deeper, thicker liquidity. Only then did I manage to avoid losing too much.

Recently, I’ve been watching the community argue about where the line is between privacy coins and mixers, and I find it pretty interesting. Either way, what I trust more is hands-on slippage protection—no matter how big the concept sounds, you’ve still got to dodge the sandwich first.
