I just went through a bunch of options data, and my head is hurting. The buyers always think they can bet the direction correctly, but that time value—honestly—every day it’s eating your principal. The sellers are the ones who really enjoy it: lying back and collecting rent-like income. But what if they get swept the other way? Then they just cry themselves blind. I’m used to perpetuals hedging, but options still feel too much of a hassle for me.

Lately, the revenue miners and validators are bringing in, plus how fair MEV ordering is, have been getting blasted by retail traders—it’s pretty surreal. There’s just too much information: governance proposals, MEV reports, new Layer 2 projects… My filtering method is simple right now: if I can’t understand it, I won’t touch it. For now, that’s it—I’m going back to watching my candlestick charts.
