UTK’s current situation is a bit complex and needs to be explained clearly to you.
The project is no longer called UTK. It has officially been renamed xMoney, and it has also launched a new token, XMN. The old UTK is no longer the core token. The official team instructs holders to go to the website to swap UTK for the new XMN.
The price of the old UTK coin has now fallen to around 0.005–0.006 u. Its all-time high was 1.44 u in January 2018—almost completely wiped out. It has dropped 99.6%.
The new token XMN is currently only around 0.0012 u. Its positioning is a compliant token that meets EU MiCA regulation. It is specifically designed for functions such as payments, loyalty points, and governance. It can be considered the core asset as the project essentially restarts.
Basically, this kind of old coin renaming and token replacement is about shedding the previous baggage and telling a new compliance story. But the market feedback so far hasn’t been good—both tokens are falling.
If you still hold the old UTK, you need to figure out whether you should swap it for XMN. Otherwise, holding the old coin will only make its value thinner and thinner.
For projects actively doing token migration, the price is likely to be very chaotic in the short term. I don’t recommend entering now #utk $UTK
