This morning I glanced at my positions—some lending position in a certain protocol is showing a small unrealized loss. From the active addresses and net inflows, the fundamentals clearly haven’t changed, but I just can’t stop thinking about it. Even lying in bed at night, I’m still wondering whether I should cut the loss. Loss aversion is really etched into the bones: unrealized gains can be held, but unrealized losses are maddening, like a hundred itching claws.
Lately I’ve been seeing people in the group saying hardware wallets are out of stock. Everyone’s suddenly super on guard about security, and I guess it’s also because they’re afraid of the wave of phishing-link operations that are nearly impossible to guard against. Either way, my approach is: don’t rush to buy. First, sort out wallet management and how to allocate your attention, so anxiety doesn’t drive you. Once the mindset is steady, your hands can be steady too.
