The recent market has been lively again—everywhere people have started hyping the meme narrative, like if you don’t chase it you’ll lose out on a fortune. I actually think this is exactly when you should lower expectations instead: the gains are someone else’s, but your stop-loss has to be set by yourself. Plainly speaking, those who keep shouting that “consensus changes the world” will just switch to another story when there’s a dip.

While we’re at it, I’ll take a look at ETF fund flows and what’s happening on the U.S. stock market. Wow—turns out even crypto’s gains and losses are now being tied to the S&P’s risk appetite. Anyway, I don’t dare to chase. The stop-loss orders for my altcoins are already in place, so I’ll watch from here for now. After lowering my expectations, my mindset is actually much lighter.
