Just saw a friend’s lending position—he’s only three steps away from the liquidation line, and he’s still calmly browsing an AI Agent automated trading group. When asked, he says, “The strategy is set.” …Honestly, I’m pretty panicked.
When it comes to liquidation, the red line is the red line—there’s not much difference between three steps and one. Once liquidity gets pulled and the oracle stutters, you don’t even get a chance to click “increase collateral.” I used to think I could take it, too. Then I got schooled by a small flash crash—withdrawal of funds got stuck for half a day.
Now that I see all this hype about “AI automatic interactions” and “on-chain agents,” my first reaction is: who manages the contract permissions? Who has the pause button? What if the liquidation trigger logic is written wrong, and the robot buries itself? That would be black humor. Anyway, I’m not handing over my lifeline to code that hasn’t even survived a few cycles through bull and bear markets.
High risk, high reward—but the knife behind that high APY, you’d better see it clearly first. This isn’t me discouraging you; it’s just that when you’re three steps from the red line, you need to at least have a shield in your hand.
