After I finish “farming” and collecting, I make a quick note of the gas fee right away. By the time I organize everything at year-end, I really end up thanking myself… just don’t ask me how I know. Last year, I dug through the transfer records for more than a dozen addresses until the middle of the night—I was basically ready to sleep with my Excel. Now I’ve made it a habit: after every interaction, I take a screenshot, save it into a folder, and in the notes I write clearly which project I farmed, how much gas I used, and what time it was. In any case, at year-end, having records and not having records are two completely different mindsets.

Lately everyone’s been talking about staking unlocks and token calendars. Honestly, the anxiety about potential sell pressure is one thing—but it’s only after you’ve worked out the numbers that it’s truly for your own benefit. Don’t end up having your tax issues blow up before you’ve even figured out your profits correctly.
