I glanced at the funding rate last night, and it was pulled to quite an extreme level. In situations like this, it’s actually very hard to decide: if you trade the opposite side, you feel like you’re doing something out of spite against the market; if you avoid volatility, you’re afraid of missing out on the next leg.
I generally lean toward the latter—I reduce my open positions a bit and don’t fight emotions head-on. After all, I eat from the long term, not from being a short-term player going all-in on a single trade.
Now I see a lot of people hyping AI Agent automated trading. They say it’s a new solution for on-chain interactions, but I still feel that security is the biggest hurdle. No matter how beautiful the code is, if the contract breaks, it’s all over.
Anyway, I’d rather move slower and not hand my position to a robot that hasn’t run through a full cycle.
For now, that’s it.
