Recently, I’ve been watching how AI Agents mess around with on-chain interactions—automated swaps, cross-chain transfers, portfolio rebalancing, and all that. It really looks impressive, but honestly, I haven’t found any place where it truly doesn’t need human backup. For example, in the withdrawal (exit) step: if a contract address gets hacked, or if the Gas logic is calculated incorrectly, the robot just freezes. And in the end, doesn’t someone still have to manually prod it? And then there’s governance voting—no matter how fast the AI makes decisions, it can’t withstand a sudden community consensus flip. When people start arguing, the robot just gets confused.
At the end of the day, I don’t need to be understood, but I do need to acknowledge that “humans” in this space are always the fallback variable. Recently, more news about tightened compliance keeps coming in. The moment rumors spread that a certain region will raise taxes, expectations around deposits and withdrawals immediately shift. Even old “bagholders” understand that at this point, no matter how smart the AI is, it can’t guess what regulators want to play next. Anyway, once I hear this kind of thing, I always think back to the old bull-bear cycle—those automated tools at the end still have to be shut down manually to stop the loss. It’s pretty sad.
Forget it, for now, that’s it. Those on-chain tricks look lively, but when it comes to the critical moments, you still have to watch it yourself.
