I impulsively did it again. Seeing the on-chain queue backed up like dogs, I got so anxious that I directly clicked “accelerate.” The result was that the gas fees doubled just to squeeze in. 🚦 Basically, when the mempool is congested, you’re like stuck in traffic on the highway—normal transactions just move slowly and wait for hours, and even increasing the fee for priority doesn’t necessarily get you in. The funding rate is also jumping, and my heart is in panic. If I’d just wait it out and waited until the blocks weren’t that crowded before entering, I might have saved myself a meal’s worth of money. Lately, those testnet incentive campaigns have been pretty popular—everyone’s been grinding points and guessing whether the mainnet will issue a token. I’m also tempted, but when I get impatient, it’s easy to mess up. Anyway, keep the position light—don’t fight with the mempool. That’s it for now.
