Just now I saw another testnet points campaign. In the group, several people were discussing whether the mainnet will issue tokens. Honestly, I also feel a bit itchy. But when I think about it, when you get carried away emotionally and chase in like that, you’re mostly being pushed by FOMO—not because you’ve really understood the value.

I’ve now developed a habit: whenever I feel like adding to my position, before I do, I ask myself whether I’ve seen genuinely new information, or if it’s just fear of missing out. If it’s the latter, I close the page and go grab a glass of water. After half an hour, I come back to look again, and I usually feel a lot less impulsive.

Also, for safety, I now spend an extra 5 minutes to manually double-check the contract address. Even if it’s a bit troublesome, I don’t mind. Last time, a friend rushed to authorize a fake token and lost quite a lot—it left a very deep lesson. Instead of regretting it afterward, it’s better to take one extra step in advance.
