I just watched a demo of an AI agent automatically performing on-chain interactions—swaps, staking, all in one go, so fast I couldn’t even keep up with it. But for some reason, at times like this I feel that being “slower” might actually be safer. Like right now, when everyone talks about staking unlocks and token unlock calendars, each person is calculating the potential selling pressure window, worried about getting dumped on. The AI can respond in seconds, but what if it reads false information or encounters a project that just launched and is rugged right away? Anyway, I’d rather manually confirm a couple more times—being a bit behind is fine. At least it gives me some room to back out. To put it bluntly, the moment on-chain where humans are needed to backstop is really the moment of deciding whether to “believe it or not”—machines look at data, people rely on intuition, and intuition can’t be rushed.
