Jordanian armed forces say they intercepted three Iranian-fired missiles

Golden Finance News reported that on July 19, according to CCTV, the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces issued a statement on July 19 local time saying that the Jordanian air defense system successfully intercepted and shot down 3 of 4 Iranian missiles fired that day at targets within Jordan. Another 1 missile landed in a remote area in southern Jordan far from residential areas. The statement said the incident caused no casualties or property damage. The Jordanian Royal Engineers have gone to the missile crash site to carry out disposal and on-site security alert work in accordance with relevant technical and safety procedures. The statement emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces will continue to maintain the highest level of alert, continuously monitor Jordan’s airspace, and will firmly respond to any actions that threaten Jordan’s national security and citizens’ lives and safety.
