Honestly, stablecoins are starting to feel more and more like walking a tightrope. To put it bluntly, you think you’re holding “$1,” but what the reserves actually are—nobody can really see clearly in real time. People go along with it only because they trust the team behind it and those third-party audit reports, but once panic hits, who remembers those promises? Once a run starts, even with full transparency, you still end up losing layers—psychological warfare matters more than the vault.

Lately, I’ve also been seeing plenty of action on the miners and validators side: MEV races at the start, and retail gets the “fair ordering” story slammed by the market. The truth is, what they earn is also money from an information gap. It’s the same logic as stablecoin mechanics—most of the time, you’re not competing on value; you’re competing on order, on whether, at the moment it lands in your hands, someone else gets there faster than you. Anyway, I’m used to not chasing the K线 and not blindly trusting the numbers in the whitepaper. Do more on-chain observation, and fewer heartbeats.
