Recently, I’ve been getting a bit too hooked on on-chain data—the kind of transfers that feel “too perfectly timed to be luck” actually have pretty clear rules once you break down the routes.

For example, someone buys a meme, and then a few hours later, the linked address follows by selling. It’s not “coincidence”—it’s a gap in information along the chain. If you watch Farcaster or a certain Dune panel, those big transfers that line up in time are mostly people taking action after they’ve received the heads-up first. To put it plainly, it’s an info gap.

What’s also interesting is that these days, when you look at the stuff where celebrities call out trades, real people actually rush to follow—then the old hands are there yelling, “Don’t take the last baton.” I don’t know whether I should believe it. Anyway, I sometimes get carried away myself, but my wallet is still pretty level-headed.

Let’s talk again next time
