Someone asked me whether that yield aggregator’s APY is so high that you can go all in. I said: first, check who controls the contracts behind it and whether the counterparty is clean. To put it plainly, behind high yields there are often a bunch of nested contracts. You need to figure out whether you’re earning a liquidity premium or getting treated as the risk-end “bag holder.” Recently, all kinds of celebrity shill calls and meme rotations are going around, and old players keep saying not to take the last step. I think it’s the same in DeFi too: high APY looks tasty, but when money flows in and out too fast, issues with liquidation routes and contract exposure can surface in an instant. I usually only choose those where you can see through to the underlying assets clearly. After all, the money is yours—don’t get trapped in the fluid dynamics designed by someone else. That’s all.
