It feels like I’m paying tuition with options trading this month.

As for time value, buyers always think they’re catching the future—yet once the option passes the exercise date, there’s not even a trace left. Put simply, it’s a showdown against time, but time always stands on the seller’s side.
Honestly, I think option sellers are more like that kind of “landlord” who collects rent from an old apartment building—collecting a little bit of time value every day, slowly wearing it down. And once you’ve saved up enough, it’s also pretty stable.

My mindset has shifted a lot lately.
Before, I always thought that if I doubled once I’d pull out—turns out the more I rushed, the more I lost. Later I lowered my target: each time, I just earn enough for gas fees plus a cup of milk tea. Somehow, I stuck with it, and I’m not as anxious anymore.

Oh right—just a few days ago, there was a public chain upgrade. A lot of people were guessing whether ecosystem projects would switch chains.
I’m actually pretty curious myself, but the credentials for the cross-chain bridge interactions I have in hand haven’t been figured out yet, so I’m hesitant to chase the hype. I’m worried about sybils and also worried that GAS is expensive. Forget it—I’ll wait and observe for now.

Anyway, as a small retail trader like me, I guess I can only make friends with time. There’s no other choice.
