Just saw some gossip about a cross-chain bridge getting hacked, and then I came across an oracle’s abnormal quote—everyone jokingly saying they’re “waiting for confirmation.” To be honest, no matter how hot the meme is, and how grand the narrative sounds, in the end it still comes down to how you manage to keep yourself from losing that little bit of principal. Back when I was a beginner, I thought “cutting losses means missing out,” afraid of selling too early—only to get poked by price moves and end up doubting life. These days, I’d rather wait for a few more blocks of confirmation than bet on that “maybe it can come back.” After all, slippage is tolerable, but going to zero isn’t. 🧑‍💻
