I just came across a meme project—it's been pumping hard, like seriously wild. But then I think back to that whole on-chain gaming wave too—those people were just as ferocious, but in the end, inflation went through the roof, studios were farming volume, and the price simply spiraled back to zero… Put plainly, behind all the excitement, it’s the narrative propping things up. When the bubble pops, it doesn’t even give you a chance to cut losses.

I’m watching the gains and my heart is basically racing, but before I actually jump in, I still need to think it through: how long can this narrative last? If there’s a pullback, how will I hold up? Just looking at TVL and buzz isn’t enough—I’d rather judge by combining active addresses and net inflows. At least then I have some footing and won’t panic the moment it drops.
