I just looked into what block builders and bundles are—honestly, for retail users, knowing the basics is enough. It’s basically these big players that package transactions into a “parcel,” send it to miners, get priority processing, and in the process pick up a bit of arbitrage. Regular users don’t really need to dig in; after all, if we’re just trading normally, we won’t get cut in line, unless you also want to play the MEV game.

The whole modular blockchain narrative is what developers are talking about a lot. I spent a long time reading it and it felt like LEGO: the data layer and execution layer are broken up into scattered parts, but for ordinary people, when you actually use it, it’s still that wallet and that interface. I don’t regret the outcome—I regret spending too much time obsessing over technical details that have nothing to do with me. Just do what you’re supposed to do.
