Hey, I’ve been looking into governance tokens lately, and it’s honestly a bit annoying. Every time there’s a proposal, I’m just figuring out the fine print here, and on the other side the big holders have already cast their votes. Tell me, who exactly is this token governing? Anyway, for someone like me—a small retail trader—my votes are basically just for show. Better to just watch how others tear into it.

Whether it’s the MEV income from miners or the fairness of transaction ordering, it doesn’t matter—retail complaints are just pointless. Put simply, in the end, that so-called “fairness” on-chain still comes down to who can pay higher gas fees. If you’re late, you don’t even get the warm soup.

I actually think being slower isn’t necessarily bad. In the modular narrative, the protocols that take time and do things carefully tend to last longer. With something like composability, you can’t rush it. Anyway, I’ve been taking it slow lately—watching slowly, thinking slowly, too lazy to rush. At least, those who are half a beat late won’t fall as badly, right? (laughs)
