Lately my mindset feels like a software update. I’ve upgraded from version 1.0—“if there are group chat messages, I rush in”—to version 2.0—“look at the order book depth first, then decide.” In the group, it’s always “xx is about to take off,” and the KOL crowd is even more lively. Yesterday they were chatting about ETF fund flows, and today they’re saying that U.S. stock risk appetite is tied to crypto’s up-and-down moves. Either way, every day there’s some new reason that makes it hard not to hit the button. Honestly, who should be held responsible for impulsive buys? In the end, it’s still on me.

My approach is simple: place limit orders and wait for the trade to go through, keep the slippage low, and I feel more grounded—mentally at ease. With information overload, don’t take it too seriously. First, stick to your own strategy, and don’t let your emotions make decisions for you.
