I just closed the Twitter for an NFT project, went in to check the floor price, then looked at the discussion area, and it felt like everyone was pretending there was still a shared collective memory. Honestly, this round of NFTs has cooled down—liquidity has dried up, and royalties have been slashed from 5% to 0. The project team kept shouting “community first,” but the community itself scattered first. When I saw someone arguing about the compliance boundaries of privacy coins and mixing, I couldn’t help but find it funny—on the one hand, they’re afraid regulators will put them in the spotlight, and on the other, they’re afraid retail will dump the bag and won’t take over. When can you all be sincere for real? Anyway, I’m too lazy to chase hot topics right now. When the market gets hot, I just add salt; I’m used to pouring cold water. Occasionally I admit I’m wrong, but this time I truly don’t think NFTs can keep going another round just on narrative. Forget it—let’s leave it at that for now.
