Ugh, lately farming “hair” has been getting less and less fun. It doesn’t feel like doing missions—it feels like going to work. These scoring mechanisms, combined with that witch-detection system, have my scalp tingling. Every time I click in, it’s bar charts and check-in sheets all over the place—more intense than attendance tracking. Honestly, it really is: before, it was hoarding things and waiting for liftoff, but now it’s daily interaction grinding. Skip even once on some days, and you lose points. Sometimes I even wonder if I’m being treated like a miner.
And everyone keeps complaining about MEV and ordering fairness. When retail goes in to buy, they get chopped and turned into “green” like guaranteed victims. Meanwhile, the miners make out just fine. Anyway, I’m fed up. Sometimes I’ll open a project I genuinely thought had potential, check the Gas, and it instantly discourages me.
Speaking of avoiding impulsive orders, I actually have a pretty crude, dumb method. Every time I feel like rushing in—when I’ve already opened my wallet—first I look up that project’s contract permissions and the flow of funds from the treasury. If I find any suspicious upgrade paths or big token unlocks, my heart cools down by about half right away. I often end up discovering that there are things in there that can’t be locked properly, or that can arbitrarily change the circulating supply. Then, I just stop. Put simply, staying calm is stronger than any strategy. After reading these “health report” check results, I basically don’t feel like randomly jumping in anymore.
