Just saw the group arguing again about cross-chain bridges—someone is complaining about the multi-sig control and oracle price-feeding stuff. Anyway, I don’t believe that the long string of numbers on the bridge can really be used as “awaiting confirmation.” During the period when funding rates were extremely high, the money in the bridge was frozen by itself first, and then it only got released after waiting on-chain for half a day. Multi-sig does have advantages, but don’t treat it as an invincibility badge—once something blows up, you find out the middleware didn’t actually prevent tampering. Honestly, just wait for dozens of blocks to confirm; those few minutes can’t be saved. In plain terms, the community watches the funding rate and yells about reversal or squeezing bubbles—take the bridge’s risks yourself first.
