Just came across a testnet and there’s another incentive campaign coming up. In the comments, a bunch of people are already calculating whether the mainnet will issue tokens… Honestly, every time I see something like this, it makes me a bit anxious. But it’s not the kind of anxiety about chasing the price; it’s more like I’m afraid I’ll miss something and rush in.

Anyway, I’m getting more and more sensitive to things like sequencers and MEV—especially those “overtake/queue-jump” transactions. Put simply, if there are people on-chain who can race you under your nose, no matter how high you set your slippage, you can’t compete with the insiders’ node relationships.

Recently I saw some projects doing experiments with transparent ordering on testnets. It looks pretty serious, but who knows if it’ll change after they go live on mainnet.

In any case, my process right now is: when I see a reorg message, I stop first, check the node distribution, then look into the consensus details. I might sound panicked, but my procedure has to stay steady.
