It’s really a bit cutthroat. These days I’ve been seeing all kinds of people in the group spamming points, grabbing badges—makes it feel like clocking in at work. Honestly, some projects put together a whole bunch of social tasks just to recruit more people. They ask you to post every day, like posts, invite others, and in the end you might only get an “identity” or a “level.” I find it pretty exhausting. Putting all that time into chasing small rewards is not worth it—better to be straightforward and just place a limit order and wait for it to fill.
Lately, the calendar of stake unlocks has been discussed over and over again, and a lot of people are worried about sell pressure. I, however, think that instead of obsessing over those numbers and getting anxious, it’s better to look at depth and slippage. In any case, the market won’t change its direction just because of your emotions. Queue up when you need to, refresh when you need to—there’s no way you can keep frantically clicking just because you’re stuck at a site.
At the end of the day, badges are superficial; execution quality is what really matters. Keep a steady mindset and don’t let those tasks hijack your rhythm. That’s it for now—I’m going to check how far my limit orders have gotten.
