Just woke up and checked the funding rates—several pairs have been pushed to the extreme. Both longs and shorts are hard-pressing to stay afloat. It’s really like watching a show; even spectating feels exhausting. When things like this happen, I usually pull back first—I’m not in a rush to take a side. “Playing against the order book” sounds cool, but if I misread the direction and get slashed twice, it’s better to just hide from the volatility and try to survive. Lately, I’ve been hearing nonstop about the unlock calendar—every bit of anxiety about sell pressure from staking is written on-chain. Anyway, I don’t dare chase those high-funding-rate targets; I’ll first look for some “redemption/steal-a-bargain” pixel-scene material to see if there’s anything to pick up.
