I tried grid trading, and honestly it’s more worry-free than I expected. Before, I’d been going all-in—draw two lines on the chart and go to sleep. Turns out the number of times I woke up in the middle of the night to check my phone was even more frequent than when I was young and scrolling through Moments. Now that the grid is set up, let it slowly eat on its own. Since there’s no liquidation risk, and when volatility spikes it can also automatically top up, I can really sleep easy.
But recently I’ve been looking at all kinds of point-reward activities on the testnet, and I’ve got a bit of an itch. The kind of speculation about whether the mainnet will issue tokens is like opening a blind box—exciting. I’m still sticking to the idea of testing the shell first: run a small project for a few months, look at how active the community is, and then decide whether to put in a little money. Grid trading suits steady setups, and points are for trying something new. Either way, you still have to pass your own “inner approval” first—if it keeps you up at night, don’t touch it.
