On-chain people calling it “smart money”—eight out of ten are just paying fees to MEV bots. Every time I see someone get sandwiched so tightly it’s basically guaranteed death, I want to say, damn it, why don’t you set slippage protection, or at least go through a private transaction channel? Recently, those big transfers were mythologized by various KOLs as “smart money entering,” but when I check the routes, they’re all standard aggregation flows sent out from exchange cold wallets. Following along—so that’s the real love? Anyway, every time I think about uninstalling the trading app, it’s because staring at the charts has me questioning life. In the end, I still keep it: either split the orders or switch the route. It’s better than rushing in and getting turned into a meat patty by a sandwich attack.
