Lately, discussions about parallel EVM and sharding have been going strong in the group chat. I admit I’m a bit behind… To be honest, no matter how flashy the technical narrative gets, the old saying still turns in my head: the harder the structure, the softer the story. With every “new narrative” that comes out, I’m most afraid that once the excitement fades, the assets get stuck on some chain and can’t be moved out. After that round of chain gaming blowups, when I think back now, I’m still scared—when inflation really scares people, and once studios and token spirals kick in, even small retail investors can’t run away fast enough. Anyway, I’m looking at projects now: first, how is the exit path designed, whether the cash flow has real substance, and don’t just draw cakes saying “the future looks promising.” Haha, maybe I’m just slow to warm up. For now, that’s it.
