I just watched the order book and noticed that sometimes the on-chain data is running a half-step behind. It’s not that the chain is slow—it's the nodes and the index that get stuck. If the RPC node is under heavy load or the index hasn’t synced, the delay you see may be enough for you to stop-loss several times. During the recent stretch when the funding rates got extreme, the community was really loud—some were calling for a reversal, while others said there’s still more “air” to be squeezed out. But when there’s too much information, it’s all noise. My own way to cut the noise is: I only trust the on-chain transaction logs and the order book depth. I set price aside for now—once confirmed, I’ll act. Anyway, I’m used to canceling and resubmitting orders when the weather is bad, so I’m not in a rush for those few minutes.
