After scrolling through the aggregator for half the night, the more I looked, the more I felt the APY numbers were like bar neon lights—bright to look at, but underneath it’s all short-circuited wiring. Many projects stack their returns absurdly high, but if you carefully dig through the contracts, what’s behind it is either obsolete or forcibly injected tokens stuffed in as rewards, or routing that loops around so retail traders end up as liquidity cannon fodder. Plainly put, counterparty risk is the real killer of “yield.” Isn’t this exactly how those chain-game economics implode—inflationary tokens, studio-written scripts, and the coin price spiraling downward, until the final buyers are always the ones who believed the APY. Anyway, I’m being pretty cautious with aggregators right now: first check whether there’s any weird permissions in the contracts, then see whether the route’s slippage can actually withstand sandwich attacks. No matter how pretty the data looks, if you’re fast and your conscience is uneasy, it still won’t help—you’re better off staying away.
