Just saw the mempool get clogged again like a morning rush hour. A plain transfer got stuck for half an hour, and I only got it out after adding double the gas. Honestly, every time this happens, I end up thinking about those discussions around privacy coins and mixers. The community argument gets pretty heated: one side says privacy is a must-have, and the other worries about crossing compliance red lines. I don’t really have a strong stance myself—just feels like, sure, on-chain transparency is transparent, but that anxiety of “being watched” when you trade is also very real. In any case, for things like this, maybe the final balance still has to be worked out gradually over time.
Speaking of this, I recently unfollowed an account I’d been paying attention to. It’s not that what they said was wrong—just that the pace has been getting tighter and tighter. They’re always yelling “you must pick a side,” and it’s starting to wear me out. Honestly, following and unfollowing is just a matter of a moment—like position sizing. When it’s time to trim, you trim, leaving a bit of room for yourself to breathe. Anyway, I’m increasingly feeling that whether it’s trades or dealing with people, leaving some slack matters more than anything.
