Sometimes when you watch the order book or on-chain trades, you suddenly find the data freezes and won’t move. Refreshing it still shows the same thing. Honestly, this is probably due to RPC rate limiting or the subgraph index not catching up—not a problem with the chain itself. It’s usually your connected node or some “corner” of that Subgraph lagging half a step. Especially when there are lots of people, free nodes will throttle you straight away, and the data gets stuck. If you hit it with a quick retry/restart, it might come back to life.
With the recent AI Agent boom, automated trading scripts and on-chain interactions have been happening more and more frequently. Some projects get hyped to the skies, but when you check the RPC stability of the underlying calls, things are actually pretty rough. Security is a real issue, though—just look at the data with your nose pinched and don’t trust those “smart” interfaces that aren’t properly protected. Anyway, I’m used to slowly watching on rainy days. If it stutters, treat it as noise reduction—don’t rush to place an order.
