Just came across a few tweets about parallel sharding projects. They’re blowing it up to the sky—things like “infinite scaling,” “second-level confirmations”... As an old fossil like me, my first reaction was: have I clearly written out the exit path for my assets across shards? I’ve looked at the 🤔 calendar for recently unlocked collateral way too much, and the moment I see the word “unlock,” I get anxiety on reflex. Anyway, I’m not really willing to put the bulk of my funds on a chain that’s too new. What if the team runs off, or if something goes wrong with a cross-shard bridge—then even the physical buttons won’t be able to save me. For now, that’s it. I’m going back to keep watching the anti-scam list.
