I social-mined by spamming my way for points until 3 a.m., only to find that the points pool had been swiped away by half by the team from the next project. I’d gone through something like this last month, too. Now that I see those badges you can only exchange after 30 straight days of check-ins and maxing out by recruiting 10 friends, I just swipe past them. Time is a scarce resource—why waste it on points that could turn into nothing at any moment? It’s better to check your own options portfolio a few more times.

With what happened recently—cross-chain bridges being stolen and the oracle giving abnormal quotes—everyone in the group is waiting for confirmation. To be honest, I’m pretty anxious. But then again, those “loyalty proofs” people hoard by frantically spamming faces probably can’t even survive a single night, much less the safety of assets crossing chains. If you really want to charge head-on, talk in terms of positions and strategy—don’t let badges drain the limited focus you already don’t have much of. In any case, I’d rather keep my time for the stop-loss line than waste it on those vague, hard-to-grasp leaderboard rankings.
