Just saw another round of chain games crashing. Inflation + studios + spiraling coin prices—the plot is one I know well. Every time the spotlight rotates, I feel like I’m here to send money. What I chased yesterday is not appetizing today; after getting cut once, I change the packaging and keep getting cut. Anyway, I’ve learned better now—attention is an economy. Chasing hot spots isn’t as good as waiting on a cheap chain; at least the gas is lower, and even if I lose, I don’t feel as hurt. What I don’t regret is that after impulsively boarding, I can still curse and swear and come out alive.
