I pulled another all-nighter, watching funding rates until my eyelids were fighting each other. Honestly, I don’t trust group chats or KOLs at all these days—once the chat gets spammy, your mind heats up and your hands start to shake too, afraid you’ll miss something.

During the recent period when funding rates got extremely out of whack, the group was arguing nonstop. Some people were shouting “it’ll reverse,” while others insisted on “keep squeezing the bubble.” Anyway, I couldn’t really make sense of it, and I wasn’t sure who to believe. You know—who knows whether those big names actually held the coins they promoted, and if they did, for how long. I’ve definitely been burned before: I followed the hype and rushed in, and in the end I got stopped out so badly my face was swollen.

Now I’ve learned my lesson. First look at the charts, then listen to the news—don’t let impulsiveness be the one that pays the bill for you. Plainly put: if you lose money, no one’s going to take the hit for you. No matter how much gets spammed in the group, it’s still better to stay calm for five minutes on your own. As for me, I just keep an eye on a few that are reliable, and the rest of the time I’ll just stare blankly—because the market won’t change just because you spam messages.
